What is the minimum order? Can I print 1 copy?

From 1 copy. No minimum order. Small runs go to the digital line with no plate fee; above 100 copies offset is cheaper. Specs: book printing category page.

How long does it take?

Every order includes a free digital proof. Digital runs need no plates; offset adds platemaking. Free SF in Hong Kong over HK$500; DHL worldwide in 2-4 days. For tight deadlines use rush printing and delivery.

Which binding should I choose?

Binding decides whether the book lies flat and how much of a spread the spine swallows. Perfect binding full-bleed spreads is the classic mistake: an inner join pulls the centre in.

BindingPages and best for
Saddle stitch8-64
Perfect bound48-400

Saddle stitch counts divide by four: see the saddle stitch booklet printing guide. A spiral bound sample or hardcover book makes spreads easier to judge.

How do paper and trim size change the result?

Square trims dominate photo books: they hold a spread steadily. Paper checks are show-through (157gsm or more), stiffness (200-250gsm matte art for 24-40 pages) and surface (matte has low glare). Stocks are FSC-certified; file specs are in the catalogue printing guide.

Two typical photo book situations

A wedding photographer typical situation: the couple would buy an album, but a large run up front makes no sense. The route is one or two digital proof copies, then reprints as ordered.

Low MOQ, Fast Samples, Transparent Factory

Low MOQ: from 1 copy, no minimum order; with no plate fee, one book is a normal order.

Fast samples: a free digital proof on every order, plus one physical digital sample copy to check paper feel.

Transparent factory: our own Shenzhen factory, Heidelberg offset and HP Indigo lines, FSC-certified paper and ISO 12647 colour.

Q1: What is the minimum order?
A: From 1 copy, no minimum order. Proofs print digitally with no plate fee.

Q2: How is a photo book priced?
A: Per copy, driven by page count, trim size, stock and binding.

Q3: Will spreads be lost in the spine?
A: A perfect bound spine hides a join area inside, so a full-bleed spread loses a strip.

Q4: Is printing one copy unreasonable?
A: No. With no plate fee, one copy carries no set of plates.
